Science on Wheels Foundation

Bringing Science to Life

Where learning meets experience — hands-on science, outreach, and teacher development across Nepal.

Science should not remain confined to textbooks, laboratories, or privileged schools. It should be experienced, questioned, tested, built, observed, and understood. Science on Wheels Foundation brings working exhibits, low-cost experiments, and hands-on teaching methods directly to classrooms and communities across Nepal.

Our Vision

A Nepal where every student — regardless of the resources of their school or community — has the chance to see, question, and test scientific ideas for themselves.

Our Mission

To make science experiential and accessible by bringing working exhibits, low-cost experiments, and teacher training directly to schools and communities, through the learning cycle: see, question, predict, experiment, observe, explain, and apply.

Our Work, in Numbers

17 Schools in Tarakeshwar Municipality
14 Schools in Nagarjun Municipality
10 Schools in Kathmandu Municipality
4 Schools in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality

Our Work in Schools

Through School Science Outreach and Science on Wheels visits, students engage directly with working exhibits rather than reading about them — testing, building, and questioning as part of the visit itself.
